Hurray! We made it all the way through Turn the World Around last night. Now we'll just need to work on polishing it and adding some percussion. If you are interested in playing on the song, let me know whether coming before or after practice would work for you. Everyone try to listen to your part some this week so it is fresh in your mind. Try pausing the recording and singing ahead. Then play it and see if you were right. Try playing a different part and singing your part.
Remember, if you can't make it to practice, you can check here for what you missed. I'll try to keep up to date on recording the new pieces so you can listen to your part at home. We also sang Aya Ngena, Come Ye Sons of Art, Dreams of Harmony and For the Future. The last two are on your practice CDs. We'll continue with these next week as well as the new songs listed below.
